Client: EUROCOR, Germany
Title: Equipment Demonstration- GENIUS MAGICAL STENT
Description: Eurocor is a growing European Life Sciences Technology corporation specializing in the research, development and manufacture of interventional cardiology products. The client wanted an animation that depicted the operational procedure of the cobalt chromium coronary stent system developed by them for scientific presentations.
With the inputs provided by the client, the narrative thread was woven after brainstorming research and then the storyboard was developed and finally animated.
The biggest challenge was to illustrate the coating of the drug on the balloon with clarity and to differentiate the delivery of the drug, paclitaxel from the balloon. The storyline, storyboard and the animation was developed with the medical experts within a span of 6 weeks. The working of coronary stent, traveling of the drug through the smooth muscle cells, action of the drug in controlling the microtubulin, comparative neointimal growth with and without the use of drug was shown in a visually manner with importance to technical accuracy.
The animation developed with prominence to minute details of the medical processes amazed the client.
