Case study: Education
Industry: Medical communication providers
Client: Pixmed Medical communications AS
Title: 3D modeling of human knee
Area: Rheumatology
Description:
Pixmed medical communications is a provider of illustrations and 3D animation for vital medical concepts. The client wanted the human knee to be modeled in low poly and high poly, photorealistically textured and rigged with limitations in all the joints and movements within a time span of 2 weeks.
The toughest part was the rigging, since the bone required rigid simulation and the flexibility of the attached muscles. UV unwrapping and the realistic painting of the textures of the bones was a challenge. The client was satisfied with the textures and the rigging of the human knee with muscles and without muscles. |
